Danielides Communications, Inc. Internship Program

DCI interns receive hands-on PR work experience during their internship and achieve invaluable professional knowledge and skills.

Intern responsibilities include drafting press releases, creating media lists, crafting media pitches, and day-to day contact with clients. We represent clients in a wide range of fields such as healthcare, education, arts and culture, as well as non-profit. Additionally, interns will assist in orchestrating special events at various venues, attending meetings, and assisting with all aspects of daily operations of the agency. Candidates should possess a strong interest in public relations, be self-motivated, hard working, creative, and detail-oriented in addition to responsible, organized, and dependable. Excellent writing skills and computer proficiency (i.e. Internet research, social media and Microsoft Office Suite are a must. Photoshop is a plus). 

Journalism, Public Relations and Communications majors are encouraged to apply and Junior and Senior applicants are preferred.

Interns can choose to receive a stipend or academic credit and must be available a minimum of two days per week for a full semester. We engage interns three times a year: Fall, Spring, and Summer.

Danielides’ former interns have secured excellent internships and positions at high profile public relations firms and media outlets. Some recent organizations our interns have joined are: Edelman Public Relations, CBS News, FOX Sports, NBC News, Porter Novelli, WABC-TV, and Hearst Publications.
