ColumbiaDoctors Medical Group

Objective

High level rebranding campaign for ColumbiaDoctors Medical Group, formerly known as Cardiology Consultants of Westchester, after being acquired by CUMC/New York-Presbyterian in 2011. 

Strategy

DCI designed a comprehensive strategic communications campaign to introduce the practice under the Columbia umbrella, providing name brand messaging consistent with the other Columbia departments and divisions.

Executing a tailored marketing campaign to raise awareness in the immediate area where the practice is located guaranteed increased awareness of the new affiliation.

We have sourced the doctors as experts and highlighted their accomplishments through comprehensive media coverage.

DCI promoted the doctors/practices through local health fairs and speaking engagements in the local community.

Outcomes

DCI’s marketing campaign announcing the new affiliation in local newspapers, magazines, and radio stations reached nearly 200,000 Westchester residents.

We wrote and oversaw the design of full-page ads and advertorials that have been included in Westchester Magazine, Hudson Valley Magazine, and Healthcare News - Westchester Edition.

DCI secured a television segment on WCBS-TV with Dr. Max Gomez as well as full page articles in local papers about one of the doctors saving a young boy’s life.

Increased number of new patients at the practice.
